My friend Kim from way back in the day has been in town visiting this week. It has been lots of fun! On Tuesday we went on a tour of the White House-hosted by the very kind and generous Jackie Leavitt. It was so nice of her to take us through-even though we were half an hour late! The inside of the White House was really cool. We got to see the blue room, green room, red room, press conference (gold curtain) room ( and others)-yes, it turns out that the White House is very colorful.

I'm jealous! Eleven years in the East and we've still never done the White House tour. Looks like fun!
